Our teacher training has a unique flexible delivery method that suits students who want to fit the training around a busy lifestyle and also want to attend practical studio sessions as part of the training and be fully supported throughout the qualification. My goal is to make sure you complete our training with the skills and confidence you need to thrive as a yoga teacher. You will also attend a beautiful retreat in the peak district as part of your training (wow).  This is a truly unique experience, with beautiful lifelong memories to take away.

Qualifying as a yoga teacher opened so many doors for me personally and has taken me on many journeys including traveling the world and has also helped me to start a new career later in life.

There is so much depth to the qualification which also provides essential skills to grow and tools to support your own wellness journey and mental health .

I’ve spent over 20 years in the yoga and training industry, helping many students to qualify and develop their career and achieve personal growth. I love supporting others and love seeing the changes in students as confidence grows. I hold multiple qualifications in both yoga and education and training and I have lead trainer status with the yoga alliance so you are in safe hands.

How the Teacher Training Works

Our Yoga Teacher Training program is an 8 month course that combines online and in-person learning with immersive experiences to ensure a comprehensive education in yoga. The structure of the course is designed to build your knowledge progressively while offering consistent support.

Weekly Zoom Sessions

Each week, we connect via Zoom for live group coaching sessions. These sessions are designed for discussion, Q&A, and deep dives into yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and collaborate with your peers in a dynamic virtual setting.

Learning Activities

Throughout the course, you'll be set regular learning activities aimed at embedding the knowledge you've gained. These include readings, practical exercises, journaling, and planning class sequences, all of which reinforce the teachings from our sessions and encourage hands-on practice.

Monthly In-Studio Sessions

We also meet once a month in the studio for practical, hands-on training. These in-person sessions are focused on posture alignment, adjustments, sequencing, and building your confidence in teaching. You'll receive real-time feedback from your teachers and peers, allowing you to fine-tune your skills.

Retreat Experience

At the six-month mark, you'll attend a transformative retreat designed to consolidate everything you’ve learned so far. The retreat provides an immersive environment where you can focus on posture alignment, deepen your personal practice, and experience the full range of teaching skills. You’ll also have the chance to lead your own class, putting your knowledge into practice in a supportive setting. This retreat is a key milestone in the course, helping you fully integrate your skills before graduation.

Assessment and certification

In the final month, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned by planning and teaching a 30-minute sequence. This practicum will include a warm-up, main block of postures, a balanced sequence covering different planes of movement, and a cool-down. You’ll receive constructive feedback to refine your teaching style, deepen your understanding, and build your confidence as a yoga teacher. You will also complete a theory assessment to test your knowledge on each module.
